  • Visually impaired persons: 100%
  • Cancer & TB Patients: Significant concessions with one escort allowed for the same.

As per the  notification issued by DEPwD on 16th December, 2022-

  • All our NIs (National Institutes) and CRCs, and the registration/diagnostic treatment fee, may be waived for UDID card holders, as well as for those who have a disability certificate and have enrolled on the UDID portal, irrespective of the percentage of disability, w.e.f. 1st January, 2023.
  • The full course fee may be waived for students from various courses at our NIs and CRCs who are UDID card holders, as well as those who have a disability certificate and have enrolled on the UDID portal, irrespective of the percentage of disability. This should be done for the 2022-23 batch students onwards (including those who are doing two-year or longer courses and are in their 2nd/3rd/4th year).

What benefits does the yellow UDID card give?

A yellow UDID card (with a disability of 40%-79%) serves as a single, pan-India document for accessing concessions, government schemes, and services. It gives easy access to disability pensioners, travel discounts (bus/rail), and healthcare and ensures transparent tracking of the UDID card ke fayde.
